Training in Surgery, India
Dr. Vinit Shah has years of training in both minor and major surgeries predominantly in Sir. J.J Hospital under Dr. Udwadia, Dr. Nazir and Dr. Kirtane.
Training in Urology, UKDr. Vinit Shah trained as a Senior Resident in the Department of Urology at Bombay Hospital for four years. He has assisted in over 30 radical cystectomies and more than 60 renal transplants.
In addition to training in India, Dr. Vinit Shah has trained extensively in the UK in the Department Of Urology and Renal Transplant Surgery at the Hammersmith Hospital and Royal Postgraduate Medical School.
Training in Paediatric Urology, IrelandDr. Vinit Shah trained for a year at the National Children’s Hospital in Dublin where he performed all major and minor Paediatric Urology surgeries and underwent a special training in endoscopic correction of vesico-uteric reflux by injection of Teflon.
Awarded the first prize for the best paper read at the Annual Conference of the Bombay Urology Society 1990. Paper entitled “Primary Signet Ring Adenocarcinoma of the bladder.”
