Dr. Arvind G Kulkarni is presently attached as a consultant at Bombay Hospital, Mumbai which is a teaching hospital. He is a teacher for Diploma in Orthopaedics for College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai. He has a Fellowship Programme under me for training in Spine surgery. The do have ASSI Spine Fellowship at their institution which has a tenure of 2 years at the end of which the candidate has to pass an exit examination. They are also are a recognized centre for AO Spine Fellowships. Dr. Arvind is an examiner for Spinal Fellowship exit exams. Post-graduate students are trained under his supervision in the operating rooms and out-patient clinics apart from the regular weekly lectures. As a post-graduate fellow, he has a teaching experience of 10 years. Apart from teaching the postgraduate residents in the clinic and operating theatres, he has chaired undergraduate seminar sessions on topics in Spine during his Spine fellowship. He has also conducted bedside Orthopaedic tutorials for undergraduates during his residency. He has completed T4T (Training for Teaching) and T4C (Training for Chairing) to chair and teach at AO Spine Courses.
